SpaceX halted another mission at the very last moment, marking a second consecutive launch abort. This time, the stopped flight involved a Falcon 9 rocket that was scheduled to send a batch of Starlink satellites into orbit.
The back-to-back late scrubs draw attention because they happened in quick succession and both were called off just before liftoff. The mission was part of SpaceX’s ongoing effort to expand its Starlink internet satellite network using its workhorse Falcon 9 rocket. Even when a launch is interrupted moments before takeoff, the pause is generally treated as a safety measure designed to protect the vehicle, payload, and ground operations.

SpaceX has not completed this particular Starlink flight yet, but the company is expected to prepare the Falcon 9 for another attempt once the issue is reviewed.
