Ukraine said its drones struck warehouse sites linked to Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer, marking the second reported attack on the company’s facilities within a week. The latest claim adds a new commercial target to the wider pressure campaign around supply chains connected to Russia’s war effort.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the operation hit logistics hubs that were allegedly used to provide Russian forces with drone components, navigation equipment and other gear. His comments framed the warehouses not simply as civilian storage sites, but as part of a network supporting military needs.
The accusation puts fresh attention on the role large private companies may play in wartime logistics inside Russia. While Wildberries is best known as a major e-commerce platform, Kyiv’s claim suggests some of its infrastructure is being viewed by Ukraine as linked to the supply of equipment for the battlefield.
The reported strike also reflects Ukraine’s continued use of long-range drone attacks to reach targets deeper inside Russian territory. By focusing on logistics and storage hubs, Kyiv appears to be trying to disrupt the flow of materials it says are helping sustain Russian military operations.
