Casio’s updated G-Steel analog watch is arriving in a new all-black version that leans fully into a minimalist look. Inspired by city lights, the latest colorway gives the model a cleaner, more understated presence while keeping the bold design language that defines the G-Shock line.
The revised watch retains its carbon-reinforced resin case, a core part of its shock-resistant construction. That means the new edition focuses more on refining the exterior than changing the rugged foundation underneath, blending durability with a more streamlined appearance.
One of the most noticeable changes is the bezel. Branding has been removed, helping the face look less busy, and the bezel now uses an octagonal shape similar to the popular 2100-style design. The result is a sharper, more modern silhouette that pushes the G-Steel further toward everyday wear without losing its tool-watch identity.
With its monochrome finish and pared-back detailing, this version of the G-Steel stands out by doing less. It keeps the familiar toughness of the series while delivering a more polished, urban take on the brand’s analog watch formula.
