Jio Platforms reported steady growth for the April-June quarter, with profit rising 9% in Q1FY27 and average revenue per user, or ARPU, inching up slightly. The performance comes as the company moves closer to a potential public listing that could be valued at around ₹32,000-35,000 crore.
The quarter’s growth was supported by continued subscriber additions across its telecom business. Jio also benefited from momentum in broadband and home connectivity, which helped strengthen its overall revenue mix during the period.
Another factor that aided the June-quarter performance was the presence of two extra billing days, which provided a temporary lift to reported numbers. Even so, the results point to a business that is still expanding steadily rather than showing a sharp jump in user spending.
With a possible IPO on the horizon, Jio Platforms’ latest earnings are likely to be watched closely for signs of durable growth. The combination of a larger subscriber base, improving broadband traction and modest ARPU expansion suggests a stable operating trend heading into the rest of the financial year.
