Reliance Jio reported a stronger June quarter, with average revenue per user, or ARPU, rising to Rs 215.6 in Q1FY27. The latest update from the telecom operator also showed that its total subscriber base has crossed 533 million, underlining Jio’s continuing scale in India’s mobile market.

A key highlight in the quarter was Jio’s 5G reach. The company said its Jio True5G user base touched 285 million, signaling continued adoption of its newer network services alongside overall subscriber growth.

Jio Platforms also posted record quarterly EBITDA of Rs 20,865 crore, pointing to solid operating performance during the period. The combination of higher ARPU, a larger subscriber base and growing 5G usage suggests the business remained on a firm footing in the first quarter of FY27.

The June quarter numbers reinforce Reliance Jio’s position as one of the country’s biggest telecom players. With more than 533 million subscribers and a large 5G base already in place, the company’s latest results highlight both scale and improving monetisation.
