SL Green has signed two office leases at 1185 Sixth Ave. in Midtown Manhattan, pushing the property to about 92% occupied. The deals cover nearly 57,000 square feet in total at the 1.1 million-square-foot tower.
One agreement is a 29,166-square-foot renewal and expansion for insurance firm Ryan Specialty LLC. The other is a new 27,508-square-foot lease with property management firm Solil Management LLC.
The building sits on Sixth Avenue between West 46th and 47th streets. With these two transactions completed, the tower has added meaningful leasing volume and moved closer to full occupancy.
The new agreements give SL Green another occupancy boost at a prominent Midtown office property. For the landlord, the combination of an existing tenant expanding and a new tenant signing space adds to the building's leasing momentum.
