CME Group has launched cash-settled single-stock futures tied to 55 U.S. equities, creating a new way for investors to trade around individual company names such as SpaceX and Micron Technology. The new contracts are available for roughly 23 hours a day, extending access far beyond the regular stock market session.

The move gives traders another tool to express bullish or bearish views on specific companies almost around the clock. Because the products are cash-settled, the contracts are designed to track the underlying equity exposure without requiring delivery of shares at expiration.

Alongside the broader launch, CME also introduced micro-sized contracts on 22 names. Those smaller products can make it easier for market participants to take more tailored positions or manage risk with less capital than a standard-sized contract would require.

The rollout underscores growing interest in equity-linked products that offer longer trading windows and more flexibility. By adding single-stock futures on widely watched U.S. companies, CME is expanding the range of listed derivatives available to investors looking for nearly full-day access.
