Ekart, the supply chain arm of Flipkart Group, has announced that it is opening its pan-India logistics network to external businesses. The move widens Ekart’s role beyond serving the group’s internal ecosystem and brings its delivery and supply chain services to outside companies as well.

The expansion is aimed at a broad set of businesses, including micro, small and medium enterprises as well as direct-to-consumer brands. By opening the network to these sellers, Ekart is positioning itself as a logistics partner for companies looking for wider reach, delivery support and fulfillment capabilities across India.

A key part of the plan is a new franchise-led model. Through this approach, the company intends to build out more than 1,000 outlets by 2026, extending its footprint and making its logistics network more accessible to business customers in different markets.

Ekart is also offering dedicated warehousing space for fulfillment needs. That means outside brands can tap into storage and order-processing support in addition to transportation, giving MSMEs and D2C players a more complete logistics option as they try to scale operations.
