Varun Beverages reported a strong set of June-quarter numbers, with consolidated net profit rising 15.1% year on year to ₹1,525.3 crore. The company, a major PepsiCo bottler, had posted net profit of ₹1,325.49 crore in the same period a year earlier.

Revenue also moved higher during the quarter. Consolidated net revenues increased 20.4% to ₹8,451.23 crore, indicating continued growth in the company’s beverage business during the period.

Alongside the earnings update, management addressed a regulatory labeling issue during the earnings call. According to the company, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has given a 90-day timeline for removing the "energy drinks" descriptor from labels.

The quarter’s performance highlights both earnings growth and a near-term compliance task for the company. Investors are likely to track how Varun Beverages manages the label transition while sustaining revenue and profit momentum in coming quarters.
