SK Finance is in discussions for a potential partial stake sale to Kenro Capital, in a transaction reportedly valued at about $50 million to $60 million. The talks are still being negotiated, and key terms including valuation have not been finalized.

The proposed deal would offer partial liquidity to two of the Jaipur-based lender’s early investors, private equity firms TPG and Norwest. Both firms are described as long-term backers that have held stakes in SK Finance for roughly eight to nine years.

The development comes after SK Finance put its planned ₹2,200 crore public issue on hold. A private transaction with Kenro Capital could therefore provide an alternative path for existing shareholders seeking some liquidity while the company’s IPO plans remain paused.

At this stage, the transaction is not complete, and the final structure may still change as negotiations continue. For now, the focus remains on whether SK Finance, Kenro Capital, TPG and Norwest can agree on pricing and the size of the stake to be sold.
