The Tripura government has signed three Memorandums of Understanding with the National Stock Exchange to expand financial literacy, encourage entrepreneurship and support a stronger investment ecosystem in the state. The agreements were announced on Tuesday as part of a broader push to improve awareness of financial markets and investment-related opportunities.
According to the announcement, the partnership is intended to help build a more informed financial environment in Tripura. Financial literacy has become an important policy focus for many states, especially as governments look to connect more people with formal savings, investment tools and market-based opportunities.
The MoUs also point to a wider effort to promote entrepreneurship in Tripura. By working with the NSE, the state aims to create conditions that can support business growth and improve understanding of how investment ecosystems function, from market awareness to access to structured financial knowledge.
The move reflects Tripura’s attempt to strengthen its economic foundation through collaboration with a major market institution. With these agreements in place, the state is positioning financial education, entrepreneurship and investment promotion as linked priorities in its development strategy.
