Paranova Print and Packaging has set out plans to invest £20m over the next five years to grow its fibre-based packaging operations. The programme marks a significant expansion push for the company as it increases capacity in this part of its business.
A key part of the investment is a new £6m board plant in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire. According to the announcement, the facility is scheduled to begin operating in November.
The Godmanchester site forms part of Paranova’s broader strategy to expand its fibre-based packaging footprint. Based on the figures released, the overall programme is valued at £20m, or about $26.6m, and is intended to be rolled out over a five-year period.
