TruAlt Bioenergy reported a sharp rise in first-quarter earnings, with profit after tax climbing to ₹59.27 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹4.73 crore in the same period a year earlier. The June-quarter performance marks a more than 12-fold increase in net profit, helped by much stronger revenue growth.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 96% to ₹641.41 crore, compared with ₹326.63 crore in the comparable period. The jump in topline appears to have been the main driver behind the significant improvement in profitability.

TruAlt Bioenergy is described as India’s largest ethanol producer by installed capacity, and the latest quarterly numbers point to a much stronger start to the financial year. The combination of higher sales and sharply improved profit suggests the company benefited from better business momentum during the quarter.

While the available update offers only a limited snapshot, the headline figures show a substantial year-on-year improvement in both revenue and earnings. For investors tracking ethanol and bioenergy companies in India, TruAlt Bioenergy’s Q1 FY27 results stand out for the scale of the profit surge.
