Fixxly, a quick-commerce startup focused on India’s building material industry, has raised $5.5 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by Accel, Fireside Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners, giving the company early backing as it prepares to enter the market.
The startup is building an AI-led platform aimed at bringing 30-minute delivery to a category that has traditionally been slower and less digitized. By targeting building materials, Fixxly is positioning itself in a niche segment of commerce where speed, availability and coordination can be critical for buyers.
According to the announcement, the company is planning its commercial launch for September 1. That timeline suggests Fixxly is moving quickly from fundraising to rollout, with fresh capital expected to support its product, operations and market entry.
The funding also highlights investor interest in specialized quick-commerce models beyond groceries and consumer goods. With support from three well-known venture firms, Fixxly is entering the market with attention on whether fast delivery and AI-driven execution can reshape procurement in the construction materials space.
