Suzlon Energy is setting up a wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore as it pushes ahead with its international growth plans. The wind turbine maker will use the new office as a regional headquarters for its overseas business.
According to the company’s announcement, the Singapore unit will serve as Suzlon’s international control centre. From there, it will oversee key functions tied to global markets, including overseas sales as well as operations and maintenance services.
The office is also expected to handle important support activities such as banking and procurement. By centralising these responsibilities in Singapore, Suzlon appears to be building a base to coordinate international business more efficiently as it expands beyond its core market.
The move highlights Singapore’s role as a strategic location for companies managing cross-border operations in Asia and other regions. For Suzlon, the new subsidiary marks a clear step toward strengthening its global footprint in the wind energy sector.
