Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. sold at least 12 million barrels of spot crude to Asian refiners and trading companies at premiums in its latest tender, according to the report. The sale marked the company’s seventh tender and reflected stronger buying interest from Asia.

The purchases come as renewed U.S.-Iran hostilities have disrupted supply flows and added pressure to the regional crude market. With some shipments delayed and availability tightening, buyers have been willing to pay above benchmark levels to secure cargoes.

Asian refiners have also been increasing purchases of alternative crude grades as they manage supply risks. That shift has supported demand for ADNOC barrels, especially in a market where prompt cargoes have become more valuable.

The latest tender outcome points to firmer sentiment in the Asian oil market, with refiners seeking reliable supply and traders responding to tighter conditions. Premium sales by ADNOC underline how geopolitical tensions can quickly influence pricing and buying patterns across the region.
