Ferrari has reportedly sold out its entire 2026 allocation for the Luce, the company’s first fully electric model. According to the Financial Times, the automaker reached its planned full-year volume of just under 500 vehicles in less than two months.
The result points to strong early demand for Ferrari’s entry into the EV market, especially given the car’s reported price of about $640,000. For a brand known for limited production and exclusivity, the rapid sellout suggests buyers were willing to commit quickly despite the model’s high cost.
The early sales pace is notable because the Luce has also faced a sharp wave of criticism over its design. Even so, that backlash does not appear to have slowed orders for the 2026 run, at least based on the reported allocation figures.
The sellout gives Ferrari an encouraging start as it expands beyond traditional combustion models and hybrids. It also highlights how demand for rare, high-end electric vehicles can remain strong when a luxury brand brings a tightly controlled production strategy to a new segment.
