Bouygues Construction has been selected to deliver the Overdale Acute Hospital in Jersey, with the work being carried out through its subsidiary, Bouygues UK. The award gives the company the main contract for one of the island’s most closely watched public construction projects.

The Government of Jersey confirmed the appointment after completing its procurement process. That decision formally places Bouygues UK at the center of the planned hospital build and moves the Overdale scheme into a new phase.

The Overdale Acute Hospital project is an important development for Jersey and the wider Channel Islands, as it focuses on creating a new acute care facility. For Bouygues Construction, the contract also adds another major UK-linked healthcare build to its portfolio through its local subsidiary.

While the available details are limited, the contract announcement is a significant milestone for the Overdale hospital program. With the main builder now confirmed, attention is likely to turn to the next stages of construction planning and delivery in Jersey.
