Cupid Ltd has raised its exposure to GII’s healthcare-focused investment platform by putting in an additional $5 million. The follow-on investment was disclosed in a regulatory filing with the BSE and adds to the company’s existing participation in the platform.
According to the company, the new investment is being funded through internal accruals rather than external borrowing. Cupid said the follow-on commitment was made at what it described as an attractive valuation, indicating that it sees further potential in the platform’s growth trajectory.
The move suggests Cupid is continuing to back healthcare-linked investment opportunities through GII’s platform as it looks to deepen its presence in that segment. While the filing highlights the increased commitment, it also signals management’s confidence in the platform’s longer-term prospects.
The latest infusion of capital comes as investors continue to watch healthcare-focused assets for growth and resilience. For Cupid, the added $5 million investment marks a clear step toward expanding its stake in a platform it appears to view as strategically valuable.
