Beam Global has announced that its EV ARC systems will support a new CommunityEV carshare pilot in Massachusetts. The project pairs shared electric vehicles with off-grid charging infrastructure, aiming to make electric transportation more accessible in the state.
According to the announcement, Beam Global’s EV ARC platform will provide clean charging for the pilot without relying on conventional grid-connected equipment. The company positioned the deployment as part of its broader work in transportation electrification and sustainable infrastructure.
The Massachusetts program highlights a growing focus on carshare models that can widen access to EVs beyond individual ownership. By combining shared vehicles with independent charging capability, the pilot is designed to help communities expand electric mobility in a practical and flexible way.
For Beam Global, the project adds another use case for its off-grid charging systems as cities, programs and organizations look for faster ways to support EV adoption. The Massachusetts rollout also reflects continued interest in community-based transportation options powered by cleaner energy solutions.
