XFLT has announced August 6 as the new date for its special meeting of shareholders, where investors will be asked to approve the King Street Sub-Advisory Agreement. The updated timing comes as the company moves ahead with changes tied to its investment management structure.

According to the announcement, the King Street sub-adviser began serving as interim sub-adviser on July 30. That step gives the fund an immediate management arrangement while shareholders prepare to vote on whether to make the sub-advisory role part of the longer-term setup.

The company also said a strong majority of engaged shareholders who have voted so far support the King Street sub-adviser. That early backing is being highlighted as XFLT seeks approval at the rescheduled meeting and works to show momentum behind the proposal.

XFLT’s board presented the agreement as a practical way forward for the fund. The August 6 meeting is now the key date for shareholders to decide whether to formally approve the King Street sub-advisory arrangement after the interim transition that took effect at the end of July.
