According to the update, candidates can make changes to specific image-related fields until August 10. The permitted corrections cover the photograph, signature and thumb impression, rather than a full reopening of the application form.
The selective edit process is typically used to resolve issues where uploaded files do not match the required format or quality standards. This step is important because image errors can affect application acceptance if they are not corrected within the given timeline.
Once the image correction process is completed, the next stage mentioned in the schedule is the release of the NEET PG 2026 test city intimation slip. The current window therefore serves as a limited, time-bound opportunity for notified candidates to regularize these application details before the exam process moves ahead.
