Skoda Auto Volkswagen India returned to profit growth in FY26, with net profit rising 48% to ₹139 crore. Total revenue increased 11% to ₹22,338 crore, pointing to a stronger year for the automaker’s India business after a period of pressure on earnings.

The improvement follows two consecutive years of decline in profit. Net profit had slipped 2% to ₹93.9 crore in FY25 after dropping 69% to ₹95.9 crore in FY24, making the FY26 recovery a notable turnaround for Volkswagen Group’s India unit.

The rebound was driven largely by stronger Skoda sales, according to the report, with support from the parent group also helping the performance. That combination appears to have helped the company regain momentum in a competitive Indian passenger vehicle market.

With both profit and revenue moving higher, FY26 marks a recovery year for Skoda Auto Volkswagen India. The results suggest Skoda played a key role in reviving the group’s earnings in India after two weaker financial years.
