U.S. News & World Report has released its 2026 ranking of hospitals in the Kansas City region, highlighting five facilities across the metro area. The report assesses hospitals using performance data from more than 4,500 facilities nationwide.
The Kansas City-area hospitals named include KU Med, Saint Luke’s locations in Kansas City and Lee’s Summit, AdventHealth in Mission, and North Kansas City Hospital. Together, they represent the facilities featured on the regional list.
U.S. News evaluates hospitals across 14 adult medical specialties, along with 23 procedures and conditions. The ranking offers a regional comparison of hospital performance while showing where each Kansas City-area facility stands in the 2026 report.
