Corient is acquiring Summit Trail Advisors, an ultra-high-net-worth-focused firm managing approximately $21 billion, in another major expansion for the mega registered investment advisor.
The transaction will move Summit Trail out of the Dynasty Financial Partners network and into Corient. The change adds Summit Trail’s focus on serving ultra-high-net-worth clients to Corient’s growing collection of advisory businesses.
Summit Trail co-founder and Managing Partner Jack Peterson was identified in connection with the firm. The acquisition continues Corient’s run of billion-dollar deals as it builds scale in the wealth management market.
