MondeVita has acquired a strategic majority stake in Underscore District, the Milan-based brand accelerator linked to Magliano, GR10K and multibrand retailer WOK Store. The transaction adds another piece to MondeVita’s expansion strategy in Italy’s luxury sector.

According to the announcement, the deal is the second step in MondeVita’s plan to build a new Italian luxury platform. By taking control of Underscore District, MondeVita is increasing its exposure to a group that spans designer labels and retail, with Milan at the center of the move.

Underscore District is known for supporting and developing fashion brands, including Magliano and GR10K, while also operating WOK Store. That mix gives the company a role across both brand development and multibrand distribution, making it a notable target for a platform focused on luxury growth.

The acquisition suggests MondeVita is continuing to assemble assets around Italian fashion and lifestyle businesses rather than pursuing a single-brand strategy. While full financial terms were not included in the trimmed release, the majority investment signals a long-term commitment to expanding its presence in the Italian luxury market.
