Kinetic said it extended multi-gig fiber internet to 14,000 more homes in Kentucky during the second quarter of 2026. The latest buildout reached more than 80 communities, adding to the company’s growing presence in the state.
The expansion highlights how faster broadband is being positioned as a practical service for everyday needs. According to the announcement, the new fiber connections can support remote work, online gaming, video streaming, agriculture-related uses and telehealth access.
Kinetic also pointed to broader growth beyond Kentucky, saying it has added 141,000 total fiber locations across its wider footprint. That suggests the Kentucky rollout is part of a larger network expansion effort rather than a one-off project.
For residents and communities, the Kentucky fiber build means more households now have access to higher-speed internet options.
