Samsung’s new foldable phones are off to a strong start in Europe, where pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold8 lineup and the Galaxy Z Flip8 have moved past the company’s initial targets. The update points to solid early demand for Samsung’s latest premium foldables before they officially reach stores.
The company introduced the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra on July 22. While the three devices are still in the pre-order phase in several markets, their full retail release is scheduled for August 7.
Europe appears to be one of the strongest regions so far for the new models. Based on the report, Samsung’s pre-order performance there has exceeded expectations, suggesting that interest in the refreshed foldable range remains high despite the category’s premium pricing.
With launch day approaching, the early results give Samsung positive momentum for the Galaxy Z Fold8 family and the Galaxy Z Flip8. If that pre-order trend continues through the wider release, the company could be looking at another solid opening for its foldable phone lineup.
