General Mills has issued a voluntary recall involving more than 730,000 Pillsbury rolls because the products may contain pieces of glass. The dough was distributed to Walmart for use in bakery departments, where the rolls were intended to be baked and sold.
According to the recall information, the action covers 4,340 cases of Pillsbury dough. The notice appeared on the Food and Drug Administration website on July 13, adding federal visibility to the company’s safety action.
