Rajasthan has delisted 69 pharmacies linked to the RGHS after audits reportedly identified suspected overbilling, fake claims and cases of non-supply. The move marks a stricter response by the state government to alleged irregularities in the delivery and billing of medicines under the scheme.
According to the information available, action has gone beyond delisting. In some cases, licences have been cancelled, while in others authorities have sought cancellation as part of the follow-up process. The state is also tightening surveillance to check misuse and prevent similar violations from continuing.
The alleged issues flagged during the audits point to a broader concern over whether billed medicines were properly supplied and whether claims submitted under the scheme matched actual transactions.
