The Kwara State Government has praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for backing a livelihood support programme aimed at vulnerable Nigerians. The initiative is designed to expand economic opportunities in Kwara communities and the Federal Capital Territory through practical tools and skills training.
According to the programme details, 970 beneficiaries are set to receive support that includes motorcycles, tricycles, vocational training and entrepreneurship development. The combination of transport assets and trade skills points to a broader effort to help participants build income sources and improve self-reliance.
Officials described the scheme as an empowerment drive focused on people who need support the most. By pairing equipment with training, the programme appears intended to go beyond short-term relief and encourage sustainable livelihoods for individuals and families.
