The Rajasthan government has identified 47 locations in state-funded universities and colleges where fuel stations linked to HRRL could be developed. The move is aimed at creating new retail points for fuel produced at the Pachpadra refinery.
According to the available details, the selected sites are now being examined for feasibility before any final rollout. That suggests the plan is still at an evaluation stage, with authorities checking whether the campuses can support fuel outlets in practical and operational terms.
If implemented, the proposal could help widen the distribution network for HRRL fuel across the state. Using university and college land for such outlets may also give the refinery additional visibility and easier access to consumers in and around educational hubs.
The development reflects a broader effort to support fuel sales from the Pachpadra refinery through state-backed infrastructure planning. More clarity is expected once the feasibility assessment of the 47 identified sites is completed.
