The Goa cabinet has approved an “Anywhere Registration” system for property deeds and related documents. Under the move, sale deeds and other property papers can be registered at any sub-registrar office within a district, instead of being tied to a single office.
The decision has been cleared under NGDRS, marking a procedural change in how property registrations can be handled in the state. The measure is aimed at giving people more flexibility when they complete deed registration and submit property documents.
For buyers, sellers and others involved in property transactions, the change could make the registration process more convenient by widening the choice of offices available within the district. It also signals an effort to streamline document handling in the real estate registration system.
