Infosys has named company veteran Ashiss Kumar Dash as its CEO-designate, setting up a planned leadership transition at one of India’s biggest IT services firms. The company said Dash will take over as Managing Director and CEO from April 1, 2027.
Dash is currently the global head of a broad business portfolio that spans multiple industry verticals. His elevation signals Infosys’ preference for an internal leader with long experience across the company’s business operations and client-facing segments.
He will succeed Salil Parekh after the completion of Parekh’s second term as Managing Director and CEO. The announcement gives Infosys a long runway for succession planning, allowing for continuity in leadership ahead of the formal handover in 2027.
The move is likely to be watched closely by investors and industry observers, as leadership changes at major technology companies often shape strategy, execution and market confidence. By naming a CEO-designate well in advance, Infosys appears to be emphasizing stability and an orderly transition at the top.
