Saraswat Co-operative Bank has set out a major growth roadmap, aiming to raise its total business to ₹2 lakh crore over the next six years. The target covers both deposits and advances, signaling a broad push to scale up across its core banking operations.

The plan also reflects a wider ambition to build a presence across the country. By positioning itself as a future pan-India bank, the lender is looking beyond its traditional base and focusing on a larger national footprint in the years ahead.

The expansion goal highlights how far the institution has come from its earlier phase as a community-focused credit society. Bank leadership noted that around two decades ago, when it had transitioned into an urban co-operative bank, its business size was about ₹4,000 crore, underlining the scale of its growth journey since then.

The latest strategy places Saraswat Co-operative Bank among lenders seeking faster expansion while retaining its co-operative banking identity. Its six-year blueprint points to an aggressive but structured effort to deepen deposits, grow lending and strengthen its standing in India’s banking landscape.
