Infosys said artificial intelligence-related revenue accounted for 8.2% in the first quarter, while operating margin remained steady at 21.1%. The update points to continued momentum in AI-led business even as the company kept a close watch on profitability.

The company also reported strong large deal wins totaling $3.6 billion, with 61% of that figure classified as net new. In addition, free cash flow came in at $0.96 billion, highlighting healthy cash generation during the quarter.

Alongside the quarterly numbers, Infosys revised its FY27 revenue guidance to a range of 1.5% to 3.0%. At the same time, it retained its margin guidance of 20% to 22%, signaling confidence in its ability to protect margins despite a more moderate growth outlook.

Overall, the latest results show a mix of AI-driven revenue contribution, solid deal activity and stable margins. The updated guidance suggests Infosys is balancing growth expectations with operational discipline as it moves through the year.
