The Interactive Advertising Bureau’s Global Network has announced IAB Global Creator Week, a new multi-market initiative designed to push creator marketing toward clearer standards. The program is set to run from September 14 to 18, 2026, and will also include a digital hub intended to support the effort across markets.

Based on the announcement, the main goal is to bring more consistency to a fast-growing area of advertising that often lacks common rules. IAB is positioning Global Creator Week around three themes that matter to brands, agencies and creators alike: standards, measurement and transparency.

That focus suggests the program is aimed at some of the biggest pain points in creator marketing, including how campaigns are evaluated, how performance is compared and how participants understand what they are buying or delivering. By organizing the initiative across multiple markets, IAB appears to be signaling that these issues are no longer local challenges but global ones for the creator economy.

The launch also highlights how creator marketing is continuing to move into the mainstream of digital advertising. With a coordinated event and an online resource hub, IAB is framing Global Creator Week as a step toward a more structured and measurable marketplace for creator-led campaigns.
