India Inc.’s June-quarter earnings on July 24, 2026 delivered a mixed picture, with consumer, finance, insurance and metals names reporting gains, while ACC posted a sharp drop in profit. The day’s Q1 FY27 results tracker included updates from Tata Consumer Products, Shriram Finance, Hindustan Zinc, SBI Life Insurance, SBI Cards and Laurus Labs, among others.
Tata Consumer Products stood out among the gainers. The company’s consolidated profit after tax rose by roughly 28% year on year in the first quarter, with the live update indicating profit of about ₹427.2 crore. The move was linked to healthy domestic volume momentum, making Tata Consumer one of the stronger performers in the day’s earnings list.
In contrast, ACC reported a steep fall in quarterly profit, with PAT declining 61.5%, underscoring pressure in parts of the industrial and materials space. Even with that weakness, several financial and related businesses were on the positive side of the earnings scorecard, as Shriram Finance, SBI Life and SBI Cards were highlighted for profit growth in the quarter.
Hindustan Zinc and Laurus Labs were also among the companies marked for higher first-quarter profit, adding to the broader pattern of sector-wise divergence in Q1 FY27. The live earnings coverage also tracked companies such as NTPC, CG Power and Industrial Solutions, and Bank of Baroda, as investors looked for revenue trends, margin signals and management commentary at the start of the new financial year.
