The Royal Institute of British Architects has revealed the six projects shortlisted for the 2026 Stephen Lawrence Prize. The annual award shines a spotlight on notable work by early-career architects and continues to be a recognized marker of emerging talent in UK architecture.
Now in its 28th edition, the Stephen Lawrence Prize remains focused on celebrating strong design leadership at an early stage of professional practice. This year’s shortlist brings together six projects from across the UK, reflecting the range of work being produced by newer voices in the field.
